Situated amongst the hills, the ‘Azienda Agricola Fattoria di Petrognano’ is a business comprising around 87 hectares, of which about 30 are specialised vineyards.

The cellar of  Petrognano Estate was created according to the most up-to-date techniques without ever forgetting its tradition.
3,500 Hl. in stainless steel, of which 2,500 kept at constant temperature, and French oak barriques allow us to conduct the different stages of fermentation, stocking and refining, as rationally as possible.
A high quality wine that takes its name directly from the vineyard that produces cabernet sauvignon grapes is “Montevago”, which has been refined in French oak barriques since the harvest of 1999.
The most produced wine of the Petrognano Estate is a 'young’ type of Chianti, representing about 70% of our whole production.
Our Chianti Riserva (refined in French oak barriques, racked two or three times) and a white wine made with Chardonnay and Trebbiano Toscano grapes complete our production.
Petrognano’s Novello has a different label every year drawn by one of the children of the family.

Also renowned for its quality is our Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Protected Geographical Indication) “Toscano delle Colline di Firenze”: made from hand picked olives cold pressed by millstone.

Our latest addition is the ‘Residenza Agrituristica di Petrognano’, where together with the genuine produce of the estate you can enjoy the delightful surroundings of the vineyards, olive groves and rows of cypress trees making it possible to re-discover the peace and tranquillity of a natural life-style.
