Going over the rolling Chianti hills is always irresistibly charming.

Petrognano Farm, surrounded by centuries-old cypress trees, vineyards and olive groves is endowed with a spectacular yet peaceful setting.

In the past it was the site of Etruscan settlements and even now it finds itself within the protected area open to archaeological excavations.

Many of the finds exhibited in the Ceramics and Archaeological Museum of Montelupo Fiorentino were found right here.

Over the centuries, Petrognano Farm has been the property of different important Tuscan families. In 1963 it was bought by the Pellegrini family, who have known how to make the most of this wonderful place, intervening above all in the production of wine, planting new vineyards and building a new cellar, equipped with the most up-to-date enological technology.

Recently, the original 18th century farmhouse were converted into holiday farm residence. The holiday farm is surrounded by a large well-kept garden, where flowers and perfumes alternate, following the different seasons, and is linked to the main Villa by an enchanting labyrinth of high shaped laurel, so typically Tuscan.

There are ten flats of various size equipped with every kind of comfort and furnished with extreme care.The swimming-pool, tennis court, bowling-run, table-tennis and tables with deck-chairs in various secluded corners help to make outdoor relaxing so pleasant.
